Most pet brushes are made for low cost, not low effort. The Brush was designed the other way — built in Germany for the specific demands of each coat type, because a brush that actually works makes every grooming session different.

Available in three coat-specific variants: Short Coat, Long Coat, and Puppy & Cat. Each bristle configuration is designed for its coat type — distributing natural oils, smoothing the topcoat, and stimulating circulation without irritating the skin.

Short Coat — For Labradors, Vizslas, Staffies, Frenchies. Firm, densely-set bristles lift dead hair from close-lying fur without scratching. Takes 90 seconds.

Long Coat — For Golden Retrievers, Spaniels, Collies. Longer spaced bristles glide through feathering and undercoat without pulling. The brush that makes long-coat owners relieved.

Puppy & Cat — Softer, smaller, sized for cats and younger dogs who aren't used to being brushed yet. The gentlest introduction to the daily ritual.

A short-coat brush used on a long coat will snag and pull. A long-coat brush on a Lab won't penetrate to the skin. Each variant's bristle spacing, length, and density is optimised for its coat type — it's not cosmetic.

Yes, but it works best on a dry or lightly damp coat. If you’ve just used The Spray, wait 30 seconds for it to absorb before brushing through — the brush distributes the conditioning oils evenly and helps detangle. For a fully wet coat after a bath, a dedicated detangling comb may be more effective for the initial pass, then finish with The Brush once the coat is mostly dry.
It won’t stop shedding — that’s biology. But daily brushing significantly reduces the amount of loose hair that ends up on your furniture, clothes, and car seats. The natural bristles reach the undercoat and remove dead hair before it sheds naturally. Most owners notice a visible difference within the first week of daily use. The loose hair stays in the brush, not on your sofa.
Remove loose hair from the bristles after each use — a comb run through the bristles works well. For a deeper clean, wash the bristles with warm water and a drop of mild soap every two to four weeks. Stand the brush bristle-side down to dry so water doesn’t pool in the wood. Never soak a wooden brush. With proper care, the birch wood will age beautifully and last for years.
